Explore 2020 is fast approaching and we want to ensure you have all of the details you need to maximize the event.


Q: What is the cost?

A: Explore 2020 is completely free!

Q: Who can attend?

A: Explore 2020 is open and free to all attendees. Keynotes will cover a variety of thought leadership topics, and breakout session content is geared towards our geospatial community of users and partners.

Q: Will the entire event be online?
A: Yes, all of Explore will be available online, including keynotes, breakout sessions, and the Hackathon. See link below on how to access the various elements of the event. You’ll have the opportunity to view live keynotes, attend breakouts sessions, ask questions during sessions, network with other attendees, and engage with Planet experts and partners - all via the online event platform. 

Q: How do I access the online event platform?  
A: A login email and reminders will be sent to all confirmed registrants with a link and login credentials.  

Q: Will I have access to the session content?
A: You bet! All session recordings will be available to view once the session has aired live. They will be accessible for 60 days. Session slides will not be posted. 

Q: Will there be translation or subtitles?
There are a few sessions where the speaker will present in their native language and English sub-titles will be added. Otherwise, all content will be in English.

Q: Will I be able to ask questions during sessions?
A: Yes, sessions will have Q & A time at the end. Questions can be asked in the chat feed for a specific session.

Q: How will attendees in different time zones attend?
A: All sessions will air for the first time at their given time in the agenda, which is listed in Pacific Standard Times (PST). Once a session has aired, you’ll be able to watch the recording no matter what your time zone is.
